Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, The Chatterbox offers a broad range of home cooked meals and top quality coffee, teas and home baked delights in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
From simple beginnings as Have Your Cake… and Marianne’s Market offering delicious home baked goodies at the local Aberdeenshire Farmers Markets, Marianne Lee is delighted to present an even wider array of home-made goodness as proprietor of The Chatterbox, Banchory. As well as the usual goodies from Marianne’s Market, we offer freshly made sandwiches, snacks and home-made soups which can all be ordered for take-away, as well as a range of popular main meals.
Wherever possible, we source our ingredients locally, both to support local business and reduce the environmental impact. All our take-away packaging is 100% bio-degradable or compostable so all we leave behind are happy memories!
The Chatterbox is open 6 days a week (closed on Wednesdays), opening at 10am (11am on Sundays) until 5pm in summer or 4pm during the winter months (but always 5 pm on Saturdays!). The kitchen closes 1 hour earlier, so hot food is only available until 4pm in summer (3pm in winter).
